Lecture 1: Counterfactuals and Causation (March 28) – Room 600
Basic methodological issues, underlying semantics for counterfactuals, metaphysics of events and properties, and related questions about the causal and temporal arrow.

Lecture 2: Central Problems (March 30) – Room 621
Preemptiom (both early and late), overdetermination, transitivity, and additional discussion of causal relata.

Lecture 3: Mental Causation (April 1) – Room 600
Mental causation, its relation to counterfactual treatments of overdetermination, and different approaches to physicalism.
